Payment methods ranked by coverage on U.CASH

All 25 payment rails supported on U.CASH, ranked by reach: how many countries a rail clears in, and how many currencies it settles. Local rails win their home markets on cost and speed; card processors win everywhere except on fees; SWIFT ties the world together for the edges. The ranking is computed from the rail registry, not curated.

Metric: Countries covered, then currencies settled · Scope: the 25 payment rails configured on U.CASH · As of 2026-09. Static, curated pages: figures are context, not live quotes.

FAQ

Which payment method covers the most countries?
By explicit country coverage, SEPA leads with 20 countries. The card processors (Stripe, Verifone, PayPal) are global by nature rather than enumerated, and SWIFT reaches essentially every banking system; the ranking counts enumerated coverage and marks global rails as global.
Why does a smaller rail rank below a bigger one?
The sort is mechanical: enumerated country count first, currency count second. A one-country rail like M-Pesa ranks low on reach but is often the cheapest and fastest way to move money in exactly that country, which matters more than any ranking.
Do all rails work at checkout?
Each rail has its own configuration path: local bank rails settle to your bank account, card processors run through your own merchant account, and crypto settlement goes to your wallet non-custodially. The rail pages carry the specifics.
