Accept payments

Accept Polkadot (DOT) payments

Accept Polkadot payments from any wallet, with fiat cards available alongside. U.CASH is non-custodial: funds settle directly to your wallet.

Why accept Polkadot

Merchants choose U.CASH to take DOT without giving up custody or control.

Non-custodial

DOT settles straight to your wallet. U.CASH routes and notifies, it never holds your funds.

Cards too

Offer fiat cards through your own merchant account in the same checkout, side by side with DOT.

White-label

Your logo, colors, and domain. The payment surface is yours; U.CASH is just the rails.

Low, transparent fees

A flat fee per transaction, no spreads, no hidden routing cuts. You see exactly what you pay.

Global by default

Anyone with a Polkadot wallet can pay. No chargebacks, no geography holds.

Per-coin finality

You set what counts as paid. Tune the confirmation policy for DOT per store.

Before you start

Getting started takes a wallet and an address. The wallet needs to hold Polkadot and a little DOT for gas on its chain; the address is where the output lands, raw hex or a resolvable web3 name both work. From there the flow is preview-first: what leaves, what arrives, the fee, and the network cost all sit on one screen before a signature happens. Keys never leave your side at any point, and the only thing the wallet ever signs is the exact transaction you read.

Fees and settlement

Count the costs on one hand. On the platform side a flat 0.50% covers the swap, all-in, stated in the quote with no spread or routing cut behind the number. On the network side, gas in DOT, settling with about 6 sec blocks on Nominated Proof-of-Stake, shown per leg before signature. Settlement runs on-chain to your chosen address at this asset's policy, 1 block (fast), a few extra for high value, and from confirmation onward the balance answers to your keys alone, spendable, sendable, and settled with no platform anywhere in the path.

Execution runs through an instant integration, which means the number you approved is the number that happens or the transaction reverts: swaps are atomic, with no half-settled state to unwind and no exposure window between legs. If a route cannot fill at your approved bounds it fails cleanly and you re-quote, which is the failure mode you want, cheap and loud rather than silent and expensive.

Accepting Polkadot: FAQ

How fast do DOT payments settle?
The Polkadot relay chain produces a block roughly every 6 seconds, so payments typically settle within a minute.
What does it cost to accept DOT?
Polkadot transaction fees are low and predictable, making DOT practical for everyday payments.
How fast do Polkadot payments confirm at checkout?
~6 sec blocks per Nominated Proof-of-Stake, with the confirmation policy stated per asset. The buyer watches the same status the checkout acts on.
