What it is

The UCASH cross-chain bridge, no custody

U.CASH Bridge is the non-custodial cross-chain bridge for the UCASH token, linking Ethereum (the root of supply) with Base and Polygon. Every transfer runs on each network's own canonical bridge contracts, lock-and-mint or burn-and-release, so UCASH moves between your wallet and the protocol directly with no intermediary custody. Built for UCASH holders who want to use the token across L2s without surrendering self-custody.

Connect any EVM wallet. Desktop uses an injected wallet directly; mobile falls back to a WalletConnect QR code.

Pick a route

Select the source and destination network. The engine resolves the correct canonical rail, the expected steps, and the ETA for the pair.

Approve and send

For deposits your wallet approves then calls the L1 bridge (Base depositERC20To or Polygon depositFor). For exits it triggers the L2 withdraw or burn.

Wait for finalization

Deposits land as the L2 mint confirms. Reverse routes wait on their security window: the Base 7-day OP challenge period, or the Polygon PoS checkpoint.

Claim in-app

When ready, claim your UCASH on Ethereum without leaving the app. Base exits prove and finalize through the OP portal; Polygon exits submit the checkpoint proof to the RootChainManager.

Track arrival

For deposits the destination balance is polled until the mint lands, then the step flips to arrived and your history updates instantly.

Questions, answered

Is U.CASH Bridge custodial? Can I lose my funds?
No. It is non-custodial. Every transaction is signed by your own wallet against each network's canonical bridge contracts. U.CASH never holds your UCASH. On the reverse routes a claim can only fail if submitted before the window closes; it never burns or loses funds, it simply reverts and you retry.
Which networks are supported?
UCASH bridges between Ethereum (the root of supply), Base (OP Stack), and Polygon (PoS). All six ordered routes are covered, including lateral Base to Polygon moves via Ethereum.
Why do withdrawals to Ethereum take longer?
Withdrawals inherit the destination chain's security model. Base exits wait roughly 7 days for the OP Stack challenge window, and Polygon exits wait for the next PoS checkpoint, around 30 to 90 minutes. Deposits onto an L2 are fast, minutes.
Do I have to leave the app to claim?
No. Base to Ethereum prove and finalize and Polygon to Ethereum checkpoint exits are claimed in-app. The official Base and Polygon portals remain as a fallback if an in-app step will not complete.
Do I get the same amount of UCASH on the other side?
All canonical rails are 1:1 lock-and-mint or burn-and-release on the bridged amount. You pay only network gas; there is no bridge fee or slippage on the UCASH amount.
Do I need a U Account to use it?
No. Wallet connect works without signing in. A U Account via SSO adds persistent cross-device history and your profile avatar, but it is optional.
How does a Base to Polygon move work?
There is no direct canonical bridge between two independent L2s, so it routes through Ethereum in two trustless hops. The wizard saves your progress per leg so you can reload or return after the 7-day OP window and resume exactly where you left off.
What wallets can I connect?
Any EVM wallet. On desktop an injected wallet such as MetaMask, Rabby, or Brave connects directly. On mobile the WalletConnect QR modal pairs your wallet app.
