Acceptable Use Policy

Entity U.CASH Inc. Version 2026-08-06 Effective Aug 6, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (the "AUP") is incorporated into the Terms of Service by reference. A breach of this AUP is a breach of the Terms. Defined terms have the same meaning as in the Terms.

You may not use the U.CASH Services for any activity that is illegal, fraudulent, or harmful, or that facilitates evasion of sanctions or anti-money-laundering obligations. U.CASH is non-custodial software, but it may still screen, block, or refuse service where it has a technical handle to do so.

1. Purpose

This AUP sets out what you may not do with the Services. It protects users, the integrity of public blockchains we interface with, and U.CASH itself. We may update this list from time to time, and we may exercise our discretion to refuse or restrict service beyond what is written here where we reasonably believe a risk exists.

2. Prohibited businesses and offerings

You may not use the Services to accept payment for, or facilitate, any of the following categories, whether for yourself or for others:

  • Illegal drugs, controlled substances, and related paraphernalia.
  • Weapons, firearms, ammunition, explosives, and related accessories where prohibited.
  • Unlicensed gambling, lotteries, or betting; unregistered securities, token offerings found to be unregistered securities, or investment contracts.
  • Counterfeit goods or goods that infringe intellectual-property rights.
  • Stolen financial or personal information, including compromised accounts, card data, or identities.
  • Pyramid schemes, Ponzi schemes, high-yield investment programs, and other fraudulent money flows.
  • Malware, ransomware, extortion, hacking services, or tools intended primarily for unauthorized access.
  • Terrorist financing, or funding of sanctioned persons, entities, or regions.
  • Non-consensual intimate or explicit content, or any sexual content depicting minors (CSAM), which we will report to authorities.
  • Unlicensed money transmission or currency exchange performed through the Services as if U.CASH were the custodian (U.CASH is non-custodial software, not a transmitter).
  • Anything that is illegal in your jurisdiction or the jurisdictions of the parties to a transaction.

3. Restricted activities

You also may not, in connection with the Services:

  • scrape, crawl, or otherwise access the Services in a way that overburdens or disrupts them, or bypass rate limits or technical controls;
  • circumvent, evade, or attempt to avoid any fee, screening, block, or restriction;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract source code or models to build a competing service;
  • engage in coordinated inauthentic behavior, sybil attacks, wash activity, or manipulation;
  • resell or sublicense access to the Services without authorization;
  • interfere with the proper functioning of any third-party protocol, exchange, or registry the Services connect to.

4. Crypto-specific AML and sanctions

Because the Services interface with public blockchains, the following crypto-specific rules apply:

  • You may not use the Services if you are a person or entity that is the target of sanctions, or if you are located in a sanctioned or restricted region.
  • You may not use the Services to launder the proceeds of unlawful activity, or to obscure or disguise the illicit origin of funds.
  • You may not use the Services in combination with mixing or tumbling services for the purpose of evading sanctions, AML controls, or law enforcement.
  • U.CASH may screen wallets and addresses against sanctions and risk lists, and may block, delay, or refuse a transaction, link, or account where a screen indicates a risk. U.CASH is not liable for blocking based on a screen, including a false positive.
  • You must not structure transactions to avoid reporting, screening, or thresholds.

5. Content rules

If you publish or display content through a Service (for example a storefront, a payment link description, or a profile), that content must be lawful, accurate, and must not infringe the rights of others, including intellectual-property and privacy rights. See our Copyright (DMCA) Policy for how to report infringing content.

6. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and take action at any time, with or without notice, including: removing content; suspending or terminating an account, link, or key; blocking or reversing a configuration; and reporting to law enforcement, regulators, or sanctions authorities where appropriate. Because U.CASH is non-custodial, we can only act on what is within our technical reach; we cannot reverse on-chain transactions or recover funds you have already sent.

7. Reporting violations

To report a violation of this AUP, contact [email protected] with relevant details. To report a security vulnerability, see our Responsible Disclosure page.
