Tokenized Assets

Rails Robinhood ChainVersion 2026-09-06

This page explains what tokenized assets are on U.CASH, the rules that govern them on-chain, and the confirmation buyers make at checkout. It supplements, and does not replace, the Terms of Service.

What tokenized assets are

Tokenized assets on U.CASH are ERC-20 tokens on Robinhood Chain (an Ethereum Layer 2) issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Ltd, each tracking an underlying publicly traded share or ETF. They are not native cryptocurrencies: their price comes from the issuer's own feed, not a crypto market.

On-chain transfer rules

The token contracts enforce their own transfer compliance. Transfers to or from addresses the issuer's on-chain registry blocks will revert, and the issuer can pause a token's transfers entirely. These rules are executed by the token contracts themselves; U.CASH cannot override them and does not try to. Where possible, U.CASH surfaces the live issuer-gate status (transferable, blocked, or paused) before a payment or swap is attempted, so a transfer that would revert never costs the user gas.

Pricing

Invoices priced in a tokenized asset use the issuer's published quote (the midpoint of the issuer's bid and ask, adjusted by the token-per-share multiplier the issuer applies after corporate actions such as splits). Rates refresh every few minutes. U.CASH is not a market, a broker, an exchange, or an investment adviser, and the issuer's price feed governs, not U.CASH.

The buyer confirmation

When paying in a tokenized asset on a hosted U.CASH checkout, the buyer confirms that they are eligible to receive and hold tokenized assets under the rules of their jurisdiction. Each confirmation is recorded with the payment reference. This confirmation is a statement by the buyer; U.CASH does not verify anyone's jurisdiction or eligibility and does not provide legal, tax, or investment advice. If you are unsure whether you may hold tokenized assets where you live, do not complete the payment.

What U.CASH does not do

U.CASH is a non-custodial payments platform. It does not issue, back, redeem, or custody tokenized assets; it does not operate a securities exchange; and it does not determine who may hold them. Tokens move wallet to wallet on-chain under the issuer's contract rules. Nothing here is an offer of securities.

Changes

The issuer may add, pause, split (via multiplier changes), or delist tokens at any time; U.CASH tracks the issuer's published registry and reflects those changes operationally. This page may be updated to stay accurate; the version above reflects its current revision.
