Trade Rider

App trade.u.cashVersion 2026-08-16

This rider adds terms specific to the Trade centralized exchange. It is incorporated into the Terms of Service.

Unlike other U.CASH services, Trade is custodial: deposited assets are held by the operator and traded on an internal ledger. Withdrawals are processed after review. This is a different risk model from U.CASH non-custodial services such as exchange.u.cash, and you should read this rider before depositing.

Custody of deposits

When you deposit UCASH or UNITS to your personal deposit address on Ethereum, the tokens are held by the operator in custodial wallets and your balance is recorded on an internal ledger. You do not control the private keys of custodial wallets. Balances are payable to you on withdrawal request subject to this rider; they are not on-chain claims, bank deposits, or segregated client money unless stated otherwise in writing.

Withdrawals

Withdrawals are submitted from the interface and processed in batches that are reviewed and then signed offline for security, so settlement typically takes 24 to 48 hours and may take longer. Withdrawals may be delayed, paused, or rejected for reasons including risk review, caps, technical failure, or legal process. A flat fee per withdrawal and daily caps are disclosed in the interface before you submit a request and may change. Withdrawal processing depends on Ethereum network conditions and gas availability.

Trading on the internal ledger

Trades on Trade execute instantly against the internal ledger and the displayed order book. There is no guarantee of execution, price, or liquidity. Market orders cross whatever is resting on the book within the limit implied by your inputs, and the price you receive may be materially worse than the last displayed price when the book is thin. Stop triggers are monitored off-chain on a best-effort basis and may fire late or not at all; a stop is not a guaranteed exit.

Operational risk

Custodial holdings are exposed to risks that non-custodial services do not carry, including operational failure, insider action, compromise of operator systems or keys, and loss despite safeguards such as offline-signed withdrawal batches, withdrawal review, balance caps, and cold key handling. Insurance, if any, is not guaranteed. You should deposit only what you are prepared to risk in a custodial arrangement.

Fees and tiers

Taker fees and maker rebates are disclosed in the terminal before you place an order. Fee tiers are based on rolling 30-day volume. The schedule, tiers, thresholds, deposit minimums, and withdrawal fees may change. See Section 7 of the Terms.

Suspension and termination

Trading may be paused and deposits or withdrawals may be suspended, in whole or in part, for maintenance, security, market, or legal reasons, without prior notice where circumstances require. Section 12 of the Terms on suspension applies to this rider.

No advice

Nothing in Trade is financial, investment, or trading advice, and nothing in the interface is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Digital assets are volatile and you can lose your entire investment.
