Overview
U.CASH is a non-custodial payment and DeFi platform. We do not hold, control, or transmit user funds. Payments settle directly between buyers and sellers on-chain. This means we collect far less financial data than a traditional payment processor.
What we collect
- Account email and password: used for login and notifications. Passwords are hashed; we never store them in plaintext.
- Wallet addresses: the public addresses you configure for receiving payments. These are public on-chain data.
- Transaction metadata: resource prices, on-chain transaction hashes, settlement status. We index these from public blockchains; we do not see private keys.
- API usage: rate-limiting counters (per-IP, ephemeral) and server logs for security and debugging.
What we do NOT collect
- Private keys: never. The platform is non-custodial by design.
- Funds: we never hold, pool, or control user funds. All payments go direct buyer-to-seller.
- KYC / identity documents: we do not require or store government IDs.
How we use data
- To operate the platform (account management, payment detection, settlement indexing, notifications).
- To prevent abuse (rate limiting, sanctioned-address screening).
- To provide support and communicate about your account.
Data sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only when required by law, or with service providers (blockchain APIs, email delivery) who process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data by contacting [email protected]. On-chain transaction data is public and cannot be deleted from the blockchain.
